Hoping someone might help with my geography. I have 2 wills dating 1840 and 1855 referencing John Jolly of Acomb and Acomb Grange. Searching the census sheets (Ancestry) I am unable to find anyone (not just the Jolly's) living in that area. Any suggestions of what town or parish Acomb may have been listed under. As for Acomb Grange, the only reference I can find is for a house in the 15th century as opposed to an area. Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thank you, Scott B Canada
