Maybe this "LDS beta search" may help. However if you look at the NBIv2 you get two burials at Yafforth, All Saints: 22 Sep 1824 John DEIGHTON age 37 4 Jan 1841 Chrstopher DEIGHTON age 17 In the 1861 census George DEIGHTON is a lodger at Crook and his age is given as 37 which would make him born 1823/24 So John may be the father of George and Christopher a brother. It would be worth checking for a Gravestone; though a widow with young children to look after is unlikely to have wasted any money on a Gravestone. You can see the church at Yafforth on Streeview. However I could not find the marriage in FreeBMD. In the same household there is a widow named Ann Deighton b 1795 Carthorpe, Yorkshire employed as a House Servant. Obviously one can't assume this is his mother but it is a possiblity. I have also found her on the 1841 census at Yafforth Grange, Danby Wiske as a Female Servant also in the household is a Thomas Deighton b 1816 Yorkshire an agricultural labourer who may/may not be her son.
