Hello Good List Folk, Great-Grandfather Edward ANDREW was a police constable in Bradford, 1880-1895. According to family legend, he was attacked (not long before his death in March 1995) and had his beard pulled out! I don't know to which police force he belonged. Does anyone know of any action in which the police were involved when this might have happened, say late 1894-early 1895? I would be grateful for any help on this. Thank you.
