Here is my connection to COCKCROFT Matilda STOW was born in Cote Hill near Warley near Halifax who married a Benjanin DRAKE in 1860....in Bradford. ( Benjamin was born in WYKE near Halifax.) The Thomas DRAKE came to NZ in 1888..... the following details are from the 1881 census, it looks like they had gone South to Bristol by the birth of the last two DRAKES. Some thing must have happened to Benjamin, and she had returned to Bradford or Halifax, She must have married again by the birth of the last two children back in Bradford, but the is no sign of their father, Could SKS check for their marriage. Do you have any clue to this problem.
