I am really, really pleased. I just received in the mail this morning a birth certificate which takes me one generation backwards. The occupation of the father is listed as - I THINK - Shew- on one line and then the word Man below that. Has anyone ever heard of a Shew-Man or can anyone come up with an alternative spelling?
