Hi List As I mentioned earlier this week, I bought an old picture of a farmhouse at Ingleton, Barry in North Yorkshire came up with what I am sure is the correct address.................NOW we need to find some-one who is researching this family, and reunite them with their ancestors home. <I think it most likely that you have a picture of Gooda Farm - SD 670 731. It is situated about 200yds north of the A67 to Burton in Lonsdale Road, and about one and a half mile from Ingleton as the crows do it. There is a public footpath from the above road to Westhouse which passes through the Gooda farmyard. Re the family EVANS, checked the 1851 for the area (Thornton in Lonsdale) - no EVANS then in the area, Gooda was occupied by the TOWERS family, and had been since at least 1837.> Thanks Barry for your help.
