Speaking of which I'm still stuck with Robert FEATHER (b. Haworth circa 1808 lived in New Halifax, Thornton until the 1851 census then lost!) and his wife Betty HOLMES (b. Oxenhope c.1808). Can't work out their predecessors from the 5 christening options and would love to know what happened to their eldest son Abraham FEATHER (last known in the North Beirley Union Workhouse 1881). Any help in this matter would be greeted with a fainting fit and (when I regain conciousness) a large drink of your choice!
