    3. Hi Listers, I have just located my Grandfather age 15 living with his parents at 70 Market Street Thornton Yorks. On the 1901 census his father is listed as a Confectioner Baker, self employed, and living on the same premises as the business. Could SKS tell me if the address still exsists and if so what is trading there today. Thank you, Anna, from a still very warm East Anglia _________________________________________________________________ Tired of 56k? 3. HI Anna I just looked at the up to date A - Z for Thornton Bradford, and certainly Market Street still exists, whether it exists in all parts as it did in the 1901 I cannot be sure. Sometimes sections were pulled down for various reasons, safety etc. Someone must know about the small village, birthplace of the Bronte Sisters, before they came to Haworth. I can send you a scan of the area map, if this might give you some idea of the lie of the area, and perhaps give you some more information.
