Hello list, I've been listening in for a while and thought it was about time that I shared my interests. My great-grandparents, Arthur Bretherick and Sarah Ellen Mitchell, lived in Wibsey after marrying in 1893; Arthur was from Wibsey and Sarah was from Wyke. They moved to America in 1894 and eventually settled in Philadelphia. There has been a lot of research into the Brethericks in and around Bramley and we ultimately hook into this tree but our part of the family settled in Bradford in the early 1800's. I am interested in any Bretherick connections in the Bradford area but my direct ancestors are: John BRETHERICK m. Sarah ?, 1857, lived on Holroyd Hill, Wibsey all his life George BRETHERICK m. Hannah GAWTHROP, 1830, lived on Bank Top, Wibsey Christopher BRETHERICK m. Sarah GLEDHILL, 1797 in Birstall parish, lived in Adwalton I am also just beginning research into the Mitchell's. Sarah Ellen's family are: Jonathan MITCHELL m. Hannah ? around 1863, lived on Perseverance Street, New Side Road, Wyke, siblings Fred (b.1863), Mary E.
