This afternoon I have been looking at the Name Index to Bradford Parish Church Burials 1681 to 1837 produced by the Bradford Family History Society. Any comments written in the margins or as footnotes have been reproduced in square brackets as they were written. Three of the entries are as follows: AIRTON, Mary Ann, 21m, D of Richard, [P.H.] : L. Horton. Jan 14 1830 AIRTON, Richard, 63y [P.H.] : L. Horton. Jan 13 1830 AIRTON, William Smith, 2y, S of William [M.O.] : Bradford. Dec 01 1821 I can only think of Poor House for P.H. and Military Officer for M.O. - or does anyone have a better suggestion?
