Hi Jenny and Elaine As a rough guide for Bradford, the records for churches/chapels up to about 1837 are on film in the Central Library and after that date are on fiche/film at the Bradford Archives on Canal Road. For St Peters, the parish church, at the beginning of some of the years is a handwritten index for the years entries. Some of the records were held at Wakefield and Leeds, but I am reasonably certain that they have been reorganised so that the records (or copies) for a particular area are held in that localities archives. Anybody wishing to visit the archives has to make an appointment, and if you are travelling any distance to visit the Central Library try and book a viewer beforehand, because it can get very busy.
