Hello to members of this list. I am trying to find members of my husband's family who lived in Little Horton/Bradford. His great, great, great grandfather, Joseph DENTON was christened at Bradford on 7 July 1805 and died on 13 November 1848 at 13 Copper Street, Halifax. He married Maria PATCHETT on the 5 January 1835 at Bradford. Joseph's father was John DENTON of Little Horton, Weaver by trade [from Christening register]. Following Joseph's death, Maria remarried a John BROOK in 1849, in Halifax and John & Maria emigrated to Australia with five children bearing the DENTON surname, namely William Patchett DENTON, Ann Maria DENTON, Elizabeth DENTON, George DENTON and Richard DENTON along with one or more children bearing the BROOK surname. I would be very grateful for any information that you are able to give, e.g. John's wife's name, which I haven't been able to find, here in Australia.
