... but then you start the on going debate of "with" or "before" the main roast beef dinner.... personnally it depends on how well I've timed the rest of the meal - if they aren't ready before then you get them with the main meal, otherwise they appear as a "starter" (traditionalist always have them first - they make you full therefore you don't eat as much of the "expensive " meat!) but then again some people eat them with jam as a dessert!
