Hi A while ago there were some very interesting messages posted about the district of 'Wales' in Yorkshire. I zapped them because at the time I didn't think I'd have a connection but have just found a likely 'Robert Williams aged 8' in the 1881 census and he is quoted as being born 'Wales, York, England'. I had been told he was born in Wales but assumed it was the country. Could someone please remind me where Wales, York is just in case he is the Robert I am looking for?
