Hi Bottomley and Mitchell Researchers, The two marriages posted recently involving 2 Bottomley sisters and two Mitchell brothers I have found more information on the father of the boys, Joseph Mitchell. Here is the the 1861 census for Rufus and Albert Mitchell living with Joseph and their mother Phebe.... I also have marriage for Joseph Mitchell and Phebe Sutcliff at 29th October 1851 St John's Parish Church Bierley. and a christening record for Phebe Sutcliff sourced from the I.G.I.
