Hi Colin, Looked all over for my old Church of England prayer book for the marriage laws (consanguinity) but couldn't find it. Glad Dawn was able to come up with it however. BUT...... as we all know it seems to have been overlooked in many cases. As it probably was in your uncles case..... What comes to mind was did they have to prove they were not related.... etc etc. They certainly were not related by blood just by marriage.
