If so apart from threw place Index, which may help a little as it did for myself, its a matter of trailing though the pages, it an as is copy of the enumerators work books. On the other hand if you have the 1841 Index and you need to look at entries in the Bradford Area, Bradford FHS have produced a Surname Index. Armed with this you can search for family names, and get the Piece and Folio Numbers, and work through the ones listed until you get the correct families. You can see our Web Site at http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/bfhs/ There is no such Index for the 1851 Census of Bradford, but in time we will be producing this as a full transcript. This is our currant project as a Society. I hope that this helps Janet Ogden Co ordinator of Bradford Family History Society and of 1891 Huddersfield Census FreeCEN I am asking for volunteers for the 1891. > Could the answers please come on the list.
