[From a book of Bradford's districts by James Parker,pub.1902] 'A great knurr and spell match took place at Wibsey,on May 2nd.1859,between W.Sutcliffe,or 'Bill at Mount',from Mountain,near Queensbury,and J.Jagger, for �20 a side.There were about 10,000 persons present at the match. 'Bill at Mount'had a score of 306. Jackey Jagger had a score of 270. 'Bill at Mount'won the match by 36 score ======================================= The people with these surnames in their ancestry are legion.I would like to think that someone,somewhere can claim these 'Sporting Heroes'as theirs !!!!
