[From one of James Parker's books of districts of Bradford] A three-days'bazaar was opened in the Slack Side Wesleyan Reform School on Sat.,March 29th.1902,(the second in 20 years held at that school),the object being to reduce the debt of �300 incurred in renovating the chapel at the end of last year.The room had been tastefully adorned by the young men and women.The opening ceremony on the first day was performed by Mrs.Harry Farrar,of Shelf;and on Monday,by Mr.John Jowett of Bradford;and on Tuesday by Mr.Percy H.Illingworth of Bradford.
