Hi Katie, A Martha (also known as Mattey) Robertshaw (1813-1836), daughter of John Robertshaw, married John Tetley in 1829. Martha is buried at Sandy Lane Baptist church, Swain Royd Bottom. James Robertshaw (1837-1912), who farmed at Steps, Allerton, married Alice Tetley in 1884. From the ages, it maybe wasn't his first marriage! At Calverley, is recorded the marriage of Martha TETLEY widow o.t.p who married John ROBERTSHAW widower on 19th October 1824 (page 482 number 1444) I can't work out which Tetley she was the widow of, so I'd be grateful for any help with that one, as well as any further information on the others.
