Hi Yorkins, After some gentle pressure and a bribe [by way of an old mug found on ebay with the inscription "A Present from Halifax"] from cousin Lesley Abernethy, I find myself running a new rootsweb list for Halifax. Many of you will know it is a place held dear in my heart and although I really didn't want to start getting freshly involved, having already abandoned the West Riding Surname List to the capable hands of Magdalena - here I am! However, I've found the Bradford list very useful and am sure the Halifax list is much needed and will mesh in nicely with Bradford. I also feel confident that it will be a very popular list and that should I feel overwhelmed there will always be someone to take it over.
