Tomas Fawthrop Firth was recorded in the 1881 census as being a Veterinary Surgeon and living at 18 Brusnwisk Place, Bradford He was 55 born Bimngley, as was his wife Lydia also aged 55. Their son John was present also a Veterinary Surgeon, aged 29 born Thorner York; topgether with his wife Annie aged 25 born Wellington Shropshire; and their children William Harold aged 3 born Bradford and John Percy aged 1 born Bradford. I can trace none of these in the 1901.Can anyone check the 1891 for me please - or does anyone have any information on this family. Firth is a common name in Bingley and I have a Thomas born there for that age, but Fawthrop does not seem to be a local name, though common enough in Bradford - I wonder how the middle name came to be included?
