Hi Listers Can anyone tell me if York Library holds any material on the trials and executions carried out in York? I am particularly interested in a trial which would have taken place prior to an execution (hanging) in April 1878. I think the PRO may hold the details but York is nearer to get to for me. I have found some info on the internet about executions in England since 1606 but would like to find out more about the circumstances of the trial etc. Any help would be gladly received.
