Hello Bradford Listers, My great-grandparents, Edward and Martha ANDREW lived in Bradford from about 1878 to about 1895. Edward was a police constable and eventually, police sub-inspector. Seven of their eight sons were born in Bradford and the family lived at: 21 Ripon Street, Bradford in 1879-1881, 5 Ripon Sreet, Bradford in 1883, and 49 Airedale Rd., Bradford East in 1891-1895 Edward died at home in March, 1895. I've checked with the Bradford Local Studies library - they weren't able to find any record of him. And the West Yorkshire Archives says that police personnel records only began in the later 1890s. I'd be ever so grateful if anyone has any suggestions where else I might check for: - Edward's burial - the burial of their son George Willis ANDREW, who died in the second quarter of 1892 - christenings of their sons Edwin, Charles, Frederick, John D., James E., George (above) and Percy Thank you for reading all this!
