Great news to everyone seeking the information to the question did Rufus and Florence MITCHELL have any children...the simple answer is yes...and a BIG thankyou has to be given to a very persistant research who had no intention on giving up on me and my quest. Rufus, 37 Mohair spinners and manufacturer Florence 34 (! but very clearly written - given her August 1855 birth date she should have been 35 at the time of the census) Caroline 15 Josephine 13 Constance 10 Phoebe Mitchell (Rufus's mummy) widow aged 59 Emilie Fiedler 24 Cologne Germany teacher living at 45 a Promenade Southport which seems to be an up market set of apartments (maybe someone on the Lancashire could tell you about it) Now Wendy does realise Harold is missing is will let me know if and when she may find him...
