James is my stumbling block. I can find no information on him or his family. He is my gggrandfather, his son was Preston Sherlock HASLAM, my grandfather, a very tall,very fair skinned and white haired man, who showed me what an Englishman was made of ! He had a German, Mother, so I need to give her some credit, also ! I have the baptism dates of the WOGAN family, and it seems that Thomas WOGAN Jr. traveled with the HASLAM family, in their journey to Wisconsin. He Married a lady from New York, they lived in Buffalo, N.Y., for sometime. He is in the 1870 census, from Eveline Township, Charlevoix, Michigan, right on the page with James and his growing family. Thomas may have stayed in Michigan, I haven't persued his name.
