Dear All Sorry if you have heard this all before,but he troubles me greatly. My grandfather died (1970) in Wakefield He is buried as James Albert Hird,I am sure he was born Harold Johnson(1894) in Bradford .All I can think is that he deserted his family to go of with my grandmother Eleanor Joyce (1896) Leeds ????. Where he got jams Albert from I do not know BUT around the time he was born James Albert Baxby was born to Emma Hird.My grandfather may have known James Albert who may have died young,(he is on 1901)so giving him is alias. Does anything ring a bell with anyone. Any Help would be appreciated Many Thanks Alec
