Genius! Thanks so much - that looks spot on the right family growing up. Alba! How weird. The 1861 census entry is very hard to read, but it really does look a bit like Alba. The 1871 census is odd also - wife and children have numbers 2 to 11 in the right hand margin by their names - with 10 missing. Can't obviously find Daniel in 1841... so far.
