Hello listers, I am trying to knock down one of my brick walls again, since I have recently got some new information. Here is what I know: grandma, Emmie GAREAUX, née ARMITAGE, born ca 1873 in Huddersfield went to America, and returned to England in 1920 with three daughters. They went to live with an aunt and uncle in Bradford (possibly a sister of Emmie). Emmie died in 1932, and they were living at 32 Brearton Street, Bradford at the time. We don´t know the name of the aunt and uncle. However, there is an Eric Barker mentioned as a witness at one of the daughter´s marriages in 1933. He could be the uncle.
