Hi Yorkins I've just gone back to researching these two branches of my family. Is anyone else researching the WADDINGTON's of Bingley and the ACKROYDS of Manningham, Bradford. The furthest back I have got with my ACKROYDS is my 3xgt grandfather - Thomas ACKROYD who was born c1793 and married Ruth DOWNS born c1797. They had at least 13 children. Some of the WADDINGTON information I have has come from the book 'Who's Who in the Family of WADDINGTON. Verified information I have on my WADDINGTON's starts with my 3xgt grandfather - Robert WADDINGTON born c1769 who married Lydia FOWLDS/FOULDS born c1784. They married 1803. Both of Bingley.
