My grandfather was from Africa and lived in Bradford post world war1 he was a hawker of herbs at the local markets of Bradford. My granmother was english and they lived at eel Square, Leeds rd areas of Bradford. He was called Charles Peters and my grandmother Beatrice Annie (formerly Lynn). I know there were a couple of other coloured families at the time I would love to find anything out abt them or my grandfather as not much was ever known abt him kind regards Caroline
