Dear Folks, I have just spent the afternoon going through some things, with my siblings, in my mother's home. One of the things I was fortunate to bring home was a small picture album. Some of the pictures are identified, some aren't. Inside it has a plate with "W.H. Ledgard Artiste Photographer Minature Portrait Painter 11 & 13 Lumb Lane Westgate Bradford" On the front cover is a picture of "Victoria Hotel and Baths, Southport" I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this place....I am just curious. I am thrilled to have this, as it does have pictures of some Allertons, Reffelts and Mary Elizabeth Hanson Allerton at age 17 and Amy and Charlie Sykes (not sure if they are related).
