Hi Barbara Looks like we are related somehow. Ellen Pemberton was my G. Grandmother. She married John Keighley Pickard in 1860 (I have a copy of their marriage certificate). They had 2 children - Jeremiah & Annie Lilias Pickard. Jeremiah was born in 1861 and was my grandfather but died before I was born. Annie Lilias was known as Lilias in the family but became a singer of some note using the name of Valasta. Ellen died about 1869 and John remarried in 1870. Ellen's mother was Grace Ambler, born 1797 in Baildon. Her father was Joseph Pemberton born 1790 in Denton Yorkshire Grace Ambler's mother was Hannah Oddy- born about 1755 in Baildon. Her father was William Ambler born in 1752 in Baildon and died April 1799 in Baildon. If you have any more information on the Pembertons would love to hear from you.Can you figure out how we're related? In the last 24 hours I have found 3 "cousins" through the Keighley line.
