Roy, I see on checking my certificates Abinah born in 1845 was actually 4(not 1) when she died of measles and pneumonia in 1849. As you rightly suppose the Dennis Creedon who died in 1865 was Michael's 65 yr old father.(found dead of natural causes on Boxing day ) Thank you for searching. Cannot seem to prove the theory but cannot disprove it either. I seem to have resolved so many other puzzles but this first task I set myself when I started in 1999 still remains. Valerie
