    3. Judith, I typed in "Wade House Chapel, Shelf" (with quotation marks around the whole phrase, as here) into google and came to this page on Genuki showing a photo of the chapel and saying it's now used as a community centre: http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/PhotoFrames/WRY/WadeHouse1901.html So that answers your question on whether the chapel is still there. I can't see any headstones on the photo though it's possible that their inlaid in the paved area around the chapel or situated on the other side of the building. Hope that helps a little. Re question yesterday, besides the 3 chapels in Shelf there will be Dolphin at Clayton Heights, Clayton Meths, and Gt Horton I am trying to get the final rechecks to Tony, so he can get the job finished. I will ask him to put info on Bfd Web Site. 3. Many thanks Janet. I didn't mean to be dismissive of Jennifer's information, I am most grateful for it, but as this chapel, in it's present building, was only opened in 1901 I wondered if there was another older building which would be unused now but complete with its graveyard. I am looking forward to the registers being on cd/dvd, whatever, are there births, marriages & burials or just the burials. Many thanks to Janet, Jennifer and Mary Lou for their help.
