Well Roy, I've googled and archived away, but I still don't know where to find either. Also Google Friends of Undercliffe Cemetery and you will find that this charitable body, who took over the cemetery from Bradford Corporation, has details of approximately 125,000 people buried there. This is not just an index but full details of every grave, as far as I recall, since I have ancestors buried there. I'm not sure about Scholemoor but I would be surprised if there wasn't something similar. Also look at the website of the Bradford & District FHS. -- Roy Stockdill Editor, Journal of One-Name Studies Guild of One-Name Studies website: www.one-name.org Newbies' Guide to Genealogy & Family History: www.genuki.org.uk/gs/Newbie.html "There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about." Thank you Michael. I have looked at the Bradford FHS site, but they do not seem to have the index Roy mentions, although they say they are working on one... Thank you for the link Roy. I actually contacted Neil yesterday when I could not find the index to which you referred. This line I am currently working on was only in Bradford for one generation, and I have a fair amount of information on them, particularly from newspaper obituaries as Benjamin Clark was a successful woolstapler and lived into his nineties, but I hoped that either the burial records or memorials might 'flesh it out' some more.
