Christopher William HUDSON was born in Burley in Wharfedale in 1859 and in the 1891 census was at 46 Darley St Bradford, an Asst Oversear In 1901at Westfield House, Westfield Lane Shipley, same occupation He married in Ripon to Elizabeth Collinson WITTY, sister of George WITTY who was the MP for Riccarton in New Zealand. She was born in North Ferriby East Riding. There were 3 sons Thomas W, b 1883 who is 1901 was at Sunderland a Mechanics Apprentice Also Harry b 1885 and Walter b 1886 all in Bradford. I have a Priscilla HUDSON who married Charles STARTIN. She was the daughter of Grace and I think Richard HUDSON. She was not born in Bradford but did live there for a while and my g grandmother was born there. HUDSON is a fairly common name though.
