Some notes by a family member have come to light indicating that three of the sons of Joseph and Betty (Constantine) Firth (originally from Bingley) later left Bradford for overseas (departure dates unknown): Levi b 1825 (last in 1851 census) went to Australia Joseph (his twin, b 1825, last in 1861 census) went to Rio de Janeiro Thomas b 1826 (last in 1841 census) went to America (Another brother, Nathan b 1829, came to New Zealand in 1873 but he is well documented.)
