In the 1901 census I had relatives (great-grandaunt with her husband and her brother, my great-granduncle) living at 32 Southfield Square. By 1906, when the great-grandaunt's husband died, they were living at number 47. In the 1901 census both houses appear to be normal private houses but when my great-granduncle died at number 47 in 1914, 47 Southfield Square is named as the Royal Eye and Ear Hospital. My great-grandaunt died at number 47 in 1932 but it isn't named as a hospital. Can anybody please tell me something of the history of this house and is it still standing ? Barry Emmott
