As it happens, I believe I have an Abraham Swaine somewhere in my tree in Bradford, but pinning down which one he was is no easy task. There were FIVE Abraham Swaines married at Bradford between 1778 and 1831, not necessarily all different men. One or two may have been widowed and remarried. -- Roy Stockdill Editor, Journal of One-Name Studies Guild of One-Name Studies website: www.one-name.org Newbies' Guide to Genealogy & Family History: www.genuki.org.uk/gs/Newbie.html "There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about."
