    3. Hi Barry The Royal Eye & Ear hospital was in Hallfield Road which is just off Manningham Lane. I believe it opened there in around 1857ish and closed in 1966. Records are in the Bradford Archives Office. Do you think the place of death meant he died in the hospital but was of 47 Southfield Square. I have a few death certificates which say this. I believe that 47 Southfield Square is still standing as it comes under the conservation order for that area which you can find on the www.bradford.gov.uk site. There is also a description of the architecture of this house. I have this info stored somewhere and if I find it I will get back to you. Alternatively, if you put 47 Southfield Square into Google you will find some mentions there. Southfield Square is around the back of Hallfield Road. Hope this helps a bit.     3. Hi, I am looking for possible links or snippets of information regarding Joseph EDMONDSON and his wife Nancy. Joseph was born c1788 , christened 1780 Thornton Chapel, Bradford. Nancy was deceased by 1841, no information on her. Children born from c1803 to 1838 were Mary, John, Harriet, Grace, Ruth, (H) Agar, William, Margaret, Joseph, Sarah and Hannah. Joseph was a boatman in 1841, family living at Wharfe St, Bradford East. Mary married John MOORHOUSE, Ruth married Jonas VERITY.
