Hi Judith & Liz, Thanks for your help, I got the date of death by way of a third party so they must have given me the wrong date, I do know that he was dead by the end of 1856 (Daughters marriage certificate) I will do some more delving, thanks again. Are you certain of the year? Don't mean to be picky but how have you got the date of his death if you don't have the certificate? Do you have anything else which may help to find his place of death?
