    1. [YKS-BRADFORD] SYKES fAMILY in YORKSHIRE Help needed (Janet Ogden)
    2. Barry Emmott
    3. Hi Janet, my father's mother was from the Sykes family and we have traced them back to Joshua Sykes who was born in Pudsey in 1805. His father was Thomas Sykes but I don't know where he was born in 1805. I would be interested to know more/help with your friend's searches. In the course of my own investigations I have come across a number of Sykes people, many of whom didn't prove to be related but I could contact them again with your request.
