Hi Janet The Knoll was built and owned by Charles STEAD who was a partner of Titus SALT. Titus built Ferniehurst for his eldest son, Edward. This information was taken from a book which I have entitled 'The Story of Baildon' by John La Page. Unfortunately, there are not any dates attributed to the building of the above houses.
