    3. Hello Susanne, Thank you for the list of offspring and your suggestions. I should have mentioned that I had seen the IGI entries. William was married before 1837 so his marriage entry in Bradford parish records, which I have found, does not show any parents. It appears that young Nathan b. 1827 was living with him in 1841 so he appears to be a brother. The thing is until I find an actual record about William, I can't assume that Nancy is his mother. There is a marriage in the IGI for Nathan Halliday and Ann Hudson Sept 24, 1805 in Otley. Is this Ann Hudson aka Nancy? Would Otley also be considered Bradford? The marriage for Nathan Halliday and Sarah Rushforth in 1806 could be a second one if Ann Hudson died. Then were did Nancy come from? Or we are dealing with two Nathan Hallidays. You see why I'm confused? It seems too iffy to just grab Nancy as William's mother. This is why a baptismal record for William himself would be important to find. Even then it might not state the mother's name. I was hoping that listers who live near Bradford might have access to more or other records than those indexed in the IGI. Sorry to be fussy. I may just have to come to Bradford myself one day. Thanks for the help. Kind regards, Stephanie > Is this the marriage you are looking for?
