    3. Hello Everybody, If there is anyone with Street or Telephone directories for the WHARFEDALE areas 1928- 1969 would they kindly keep a lookout for my Great Aunt CORA ROSS BEAZANT, we believe that after her husband died in 1928 she left SOUTHAMPTON and settled in the WHARFEDALE area with her 2 sons, she seemed to have returned to SOUTHAMPTON where she died in 1969 aged 90. She may have had relatives in that area so there may be other BEAZANT,S around WHAFEDALE. Thank you. Regards, Syd

    3. Hi Liz Yes, I have taken my own advice now and emailed the local studies dept in Bradford. I don't know why I didn't think of it to begin with. They are always so helpful and the costs are minimal. The thing is that I don't like to overdo the asking there. I'm sure sometimes that they think 'oh not her again' but I am very grateful to them. As you recommended I asked the local studies department if they could find articles re both the chapel and the accident and they found articles on each and the notification of death in the Bradford Argos. The only thing they couldn't find was an account of what happened in the coroners court - there were reports from the coroners court but they couldn't find my great grandfather. I was amazed all it cost was £1.35p. So maybe you would get what you need through them.
