My Hawker family is from Worcestershire. See; http://www.connectedglobe.com/family/web/hawkerfam/ Curiously, I have fond memories of Wychbold. My mother's brother (nothing to do with the Hawkers) had a good friend (Johnny Jones) who had a couple of very old Aunts in Wychbold. When I was a kid (1950s) we used to visit and they were great fun. Auntie Effie was about 60 and Auntie Gee was 100. There was also an Uncle Wilf, I think he was a brother. They had a big Mulberry tree in the garden and a talking Jackdaw lived in it. Just a coincidental miscellany. Someone may have a connection.
