Elizabeth Davis, aged 35, died in August, 1891. According to her death certificate her husband, who was present at the death lived in Walsall Grove, Hagley but Elizabeth died at 10 The Crescent, Hagley. The cause of death was, "cancer of the cervix of pregnant uterus about 2 years Torro's operation caesarean section, five and a half hours, shock and exhaustion. Certified by C Martin MB". As Elizabeth's place of death was not recorded as a hospital, would it have been a private residence, possibly of a relative or even the doctor - was this normal practice? Is anyone familiar with the area and would know where she is likely to have been buried? On the 1891 census the family was living in Lutley Lane in the village of Lutley. Any comments would be appreciated. Regards, Jill
