Hi Listers, I have had a major breakthrough with one of my lines after 40 years. My 2nd gt grandmother Elizabeth Tunks had a child Isabella Tunks in 1818 in Ludlow. No father noted on christening. On Isabella's marriage in 1841 to William Corfield she notes Richard Tunks farmer of Bitterley as her father. I have now found in the 1861 census for Mamble Worcestershire, Elizabeth Copner widow age 65 (born 1795 in Bitterley) mother to wife Isabella Corfield. So this is Elizabeth (Tunks) Copner. My question .. does anyone have access to the 1851 census for Mamble? or Bayton? so that I can see if Elizabeth Copner is there and hopefully her husband. I have the census for 1851 of Bitterley and Ludlow, if anyone needs lookups. regards Georgina Goodby Fisher in Orange, California 6 miles east of Disneyland www.goodbytree.org One Name Study GOODBY Guild of One Name Studies Goons member #4148
