I also found my mother's short Birth Certificate after she died. She was born in May 1913. I have since bought a full copy from GRO Southport. It has the original details photocopied in the centre of the modern form. These are: date and place of birth, child's name, sex, father's name, mother's name and maiden name, father's occupation, name and residence of informant, registration date, registrar's name, and name entered after registration (if any) Hope this is useful!
